Place only the Cryoball in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours. If you place it in the fridge, it will become cold, but not cryo temperatures.

Yes, it can be kept in the freezer when not in use for long a long period of time.
7How long will the Cryoball stay cold?
The Cryoball will stay cold for up to 6 hours once its taken out of the freezer, however it may still feel cold after that. Keep the Cryoball out of direct sunlight as it will get warm which will lose cold capability.
8For how long can the cryoball be used for?
It can be used with massage rolling technique for approximately 20 minutes. You can then move to another area and go back. For the cold compress usage, start with a few minutes on, then off and build up gently.

It can be wiped and cleaned with any antibacterial cleaner/wipes.
